The new face of cool…Joan Didion. Another victory for Iconic Girls and let’s add Phoebe Philo to the list of thinking designers.

    I concur. Phoebe is a smart and clever designer. Now perhaps other designers will follow suit.

      There have always been some pioneers, Yamamoto, Miyake, Rick Owens, JP Gaultier have all had older models in their runway shoes but this is really something.

    I would prefer to see someone that doesn’t look miserable. In all the pictures I have seen of Joan Didion she did not smile when she was young and has continued the trend.
