Wow, congrats though on your new role and at some point would love to see you in that dress.

Ah, now I feel excited about the rain for which I must dress this morning. I do have a fabulous waterproof dress, in deep grey rubberised cotton, but unfortunately it is no good for breastfeeding and thus not an option at this stage of my life.

Gorge. Ous. Absolutley love the profile of this outfit! The skirt is, I imagine, as comfy as it is versatile and the black and white contrast in your styling and sartorial images evokes such a reflective mood-perfect for rainy days. Thanks for sharing.

Comfort for me is absolutely essential when it comes to anything I wear. Having a space to reflect on our clothing choices was what I hoped to bring to the table, thanks for noting that!
You are such a dear person and I am making sure I never miss a hat or your lovely prose too.

What versatile elements are in your outfit! I love all the "parts" of it on you! That shirt -I like very much the unique way you made it "fall" from the covering of the sweater–it is a shirt but also a skirt and sort of dress( length) too!! I love the shoes too–they look sleek but definitely comfortable !
Thanks, I actually never really thought about the different ways the styling of the shirt could be interpreted. Comfort is an absolute requirement of any outfit I wear but especially shoes!

I’m 53 and have been "pinning" your looks for a long time. How delighter I am to discover the person (and blog) behind the looks! I am so happy to finally have a fashion icon / inspiration to aspire to! Please tell me about the earrings you are wearing on this page. I’ve seen them with a couple of outfits, so they must be easy to wear and comfortable?

Most of my earrings are clip ons that I have gotten at vintage and antique stores. I wear earrings everyday.
