Detail: Accidental Icon Wears
Shirt: San Francisco Shirt Company, Trousers: Elm Design, Sweater: Junya Watanabe, Boots: Schott
Detail: Margo Wolowiec Corrections and Exposures
The painted corrective marks such as the x below mirror those found on photographic contact sheets and are applied only as the weaving is taking place. Each strand is painted by hand.
The intricacy and detailed handwork in Margo Wolowiec’s piece is so impressive. Also impressive is how you put those layers together, and that stunning sweater!
I have recently discovered in my various consignment shops three Junya Watanbe sweaters that are so unique, each in their own ways. The sweater can actually stand up on its own, it is so densely woven almost like a sculpture in and of itself.
I had a great dress by Blumarine that had a 3-inch high script "B" in spaced pearls, glued to the back right at the neck. Loved it.
Oh that sounds like perfection and a detail like that is seductive and beautiful.

I like the sweater vest over the long white shirt. I got a cool knitted vest at job today and this is how I am going to style it.

Thanks Allie, I recently discovered Junya Watanabe makes the most incredible sweaters…I now have three all different lengths so I can play around in different ways with the layers. Can’t wait to see what you do with your new vest.
Lyn; I would love to see some summer clothes; its 33C where I live and although I love your outfits, I would die of heatstroke trying to wear any of them. (I am in North Queensland, Australia) Thanks….

Since I shoot outside mainly and always try to use natural light I would have frostbite if we were shooting summer clothes right now, but the minute it gets warmer I will be moving to spring and summer looks. So hang on a few more weeks and you will get your wish.

Thanks, the sweater is like a little sculpture itself and the white is like a canvas. I guess I am in an art mood lately!
