Scandinavian designer Johan Lindeberg once described his contemporary label BLK DNM as, “exactly what I want to see a woman wear.” The “white shirt” in this post is made from 100% silk with a round or claudinet collar and comes from BLK DNM’s SS 2015 collection. Though the designer stepped away from the brand this spring to pursue his interests in photography and film, the core of the collections includes his vision of cool but wearable essentials inspired by downtown Manhattan. He designs for artists and other creatives who are always on the lookout for inspiration. Lindeberg was the CEO of Diesel USA prior to starting this brand. My very first pair of expensive jeans were some low rise black denim Diesel flares and if I say so myself, were very hot. Memories of being hot are inspiring me to wear this shirt again in the Fall this time with underwear only. But for those easily shocked, like my daughter and mother, I’d style it with a leather jacket or vest.

So simple yet so chic and elegant which is how you always look. I love BLK DNM and I didn’t know the designer has taken a break from doing the label, that’s sad. He is very talented.

I agree! He still has a line called J Lindeberg that is believe it or not fashionable golf attire plus some other basics.
Thank you! I think I am getting a bit more comfortable in my new role of Accidental Icon and am doing a little vamping.
So simple, so chic, so sheer!

Thanks my dear. Sometimes the more simple the more exquisite.

I had to go back to the previous post just to check if this was the same blouse. I love how you paired it with different shoes. It shows the versatility of this blouse with heavier textures. I remember Deisel and can envision the concept more. I also like his tees. His eye for proportion and slight embellishment of openings like collars and sleeves. I like this exploration of sheer and also white tops. Those earrings work just right. You look Manhattan hot.
