During the 1990’s, I had a boss who was exceptionally brilliant. She was small like me and had a french gamine look to her. I absolutely loved her style and the clothing she wore. Her designer of choice was Morgane Le Fay.

Morgane Le Fay was founded in 1982, a brand firmly rooted in the artistic and creative culture of Soho. There are stores in Soho and on Madison Avenue and good news for my West Coast followers; Santa Monica and Malibu. The brand’s history is clearly tied to the artistic sensibility and creativity serendipitously found in a city, the topic I wrote about in this week’s post. The top I am wearing can be styled as a dress or a shirt and although sheer there are double panels of fabric strategically placed so that I felt extremely comfortable yet ever so romantic and modern when wearing this piece. See Morgane Le Fay’s Fall 2015 collection here.
