Accidental Icon: Details Miyake, the Wind and Me

Today I am moving so fast, I wish I was dancing with the wind like I did on Sunday. Moving from task to task, appointment to appointment, email to email, text to text, home to doctor, doctor to work it is almost hard to catch my breath. In this state I absorb anxiety from others which fuels the rapid pace at which I start moving. As I sit in a coffee shop now waiting for my next appointment I connect to the fact that music’s playing and now suddenly I feel the Talking Heads taking me to the river and I am moving and meditative again. Like dancing with the wind. Note to self: Remember to take the time to dance with the wind.

I love wearing scarves, on windy days they occasionally snap like wayward flags behind you. I am now also presented with roof top images as I float along. Makes going about a busy day so much more alluring.
