Trying something new is great exercise. But at the risk of sounding stuck in the mud, I prefer a few words to draw me in.
Duly noted! Anyone else care to weigh in?
Words are drawing more than pics.
I agree. I would like a few words.
Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback.
I think it’s fun to mix things up, and by mousing over each image I got a preview of the URL, which told me enough. In fairness, the ‘Convenience Store Woman’ teaser drew me in instantly, as I’ve already read and loved that book.
Glad you appreciate my creative impulses!
Love this new format Lyn.
The visual really draws you in.
Keep on being a Gemini ……. forever changing and evolving.
Thanks for the encouragement to keep evolving and changing and your long time support.
I am very much a visual person so I personally appreciated the images , but doing both may be possible ? Ruth London
I’m a visual person but I like the old way better because i knew more what the article was about…
While I don’t normally post comments to any blog, I want to tell you your new format is quite intriguing. I am a reader, picking out keywords to determine if I will settle and read an article completely. The visual pulled me in and yes I have read more than I normally would have. A very successful ploy.
Ah very interesting. I am going to have to design my syllabus with visuals to see if the ploy works with students!!!!?
I like this new format. Thank you so much.
I like this new visual format, especially attracted the VOGUE

Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for trying something new and asking for feedback. Love the pictures, but would also like the article titles–it’s more efficient for scanning to see what’s of interest. I prefer not having to click through just to find out what something is about (on any site).
Thanks so much for the feedback as this is the perfect solution. Now to see if I can figure out how to execute!
I really admire you and your taste for fashion. Trying different thing is a beautiful thing in our lives.
Oh yes indeed, it always keeps us learning and for me that is like an elixir.
I love this!
May I recommend on this page – add a roll-over state so that when a user rolls over the image, the title of the article will appear – to give more context and help inspire the "click". Love your site!
It takes you to Pinterest, which is fine, unless the viewer doesn’t know their password or doesn’t subscribe to P … which could result in loss of interest
Hi Laura, I put clearer instructions on the most recent post. You need to click on the picture itself not the Pinterest icon. Clicking on the picture takes you directly to the article. I just tried it on my phone and laptop.
When I saw this ad on TV, I thought I would look you up. Wow~ I love your website and all that you stand for!!
I am following you now.
Thank you for your candor and sensibility, your style and your ‘original beingness’.
Barbara
Your work seems to be informative. Thanks!!
